Backup and/or Restore
Keep your data safe by backing up individual companies before making big changes, before importing new data, and after finalizing your AAPs. Restore your company only if necessary.
- Back Up Your Company
-
- Launch The Complete AAP.
- Open the Company you wish to back up.
- Click Utilities and then Back Up.
- Use the default back up location, or use the browse button to select a different directory.
- Click Include non-essential files if you wish to back up published reports, data error reports, imports, exports, and other files not essential for the program to recognize the AAP.
The resulting backup file is a .aap file that cannot be read by a user who attempts to open it. The file is intended to be restored into The Complete AAP using the Restore instructions below. This .aap file can be uploaded to chat or emailed to our support team at support@yocom-mckee.com if you run into any problems. The support team will help troubleshoot, and can answer questions about the program and affirmative action, but will not review your reports for compliance. You can contact us if you would like to contract with Yocom & McKee, Inc. to have us review your finalized AAP.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What do I do with my AAP after I finalize it?
- After you share the results of your finalized AAP with managers (see Implement Your Affirmative Action Plan), all you need to do is file it in a secure location. If you fall under audit, you will want to review it thoroughly, but otherwise the OFCCP will not lay eyes on it. There is evidence that the OFCCP may sometime in the near future require certification of completion, and possibly submission of contractors’ AAPs, but as of this writing, it is not yet required.
