You may import one of two different formats into your Adverse Impact table. A Detail File, an example of which is shown below, lists one person per row in a spreadsheet. The file must contain only six columns in the following order: Plan Code, Activity Code, Job Group Code, Job Group Name, Gender and Race.  When formatting your data into a Detail file, do not hide columns or rows; instead, delete columns or rows that you do not wish to import. You may, save your file as an Excel (.xls) or comma-delimited (.csv) file. Microsoft Excel 5.0/95 is the preferred file type.

A Summary File, an example of which is shown below, lists one activity per job group per row in a spreadsheet. The file must contain only 15 columns in the following order: Plan Code, Activity Code, Job Group Code, Job Group Name, Total Males, Total Females, Total Whites, Total Blacks, Total Hispanics, Total Asians, Total American Indians, Total Pacific Islanders, Total Two or More, Total Unknown Gender, Total Unknown Race. When formatting your data into a Summary file, do not hide columns or rows; instead, delete columns or rows that you do not wish to import. You may, save your file as an Excel (.xls) or comma-delimited (.csv) file.
