Persons under gives you an idea of how many additional people it would take to eliminate the underutilization. This may be helpful for planning purposes, but it is not recommend that you print the number of underutilized individuals in the reports placed in your actual affirmative action plan or include it on any reports submitted to the OFCCP.

If a group is underutilized, the software translates the % Underutilized into an actual number of persons.

Number of persons under is calculated differently depending on what test is used.
