The Salary Summary Report is helpful when your company is audited by the OFCCP, and it is formatted to provide the information requested by the OFCCP in their scheduling letter for audits. The OFCCP requests this report by Salary Grade, or Range. The report can be sorted by Salary Grade if you have included Salary Grades in your data. Otherwise, we recommend the report be completed by job.

The Salary Summary report prints the total number of employees and total compensation for males and females in each racial category broken down by salary code, department, job, job group, EEO code, all employees, and SSEG. By checking the Subgroup by Salary Code box, the report will print total compensation for each salary code within the department, job, job group, EEO category, all employees, or SSEG. OFCCP’s standard audit letter now includes an item requiring the submission of annualized compensation data by "salary range, rate, grade, or level". This Salary Summary report may be used to satisfy this requirement by choosing to group a report of all employees either by “Salary Code” or by “Job”. OFCCP defines annualized compensation to include wages, salaries, commissions, and bonuses. The Total Salary field may be used to report this compensation, however, Base Salary is often used if Total Salary is not available.
