Install the Software
- Choose any computer that needs access to The Complete AAP 12™ software. Each computer that uses this procedure will take a license seat from the Yocom and McKee licensing server.
- Double-click the Setup.exe file that was downloaded from the Client Control Panel.
- The software is being installed to the user’s computer in the background. When the installation is complete there will be an icon installed on the user’s desktop and the software will launch automatically.
Set Up The Network Data Location
When the software launches for the first time, the user will be presented with the following Data Location Setup window.
- If this is the FIRST computer that the software is being installed on, make sure that New Custom Location is selected. If this is not the first computer that has been set up, choose the “Existing Location” option, browse and select the “Aap12Data” folder that you previously set up and then click the OK button.
- Click on the Browse button located underneath the New Custom Location option.
- A folder browser dialog will appear. Navigate to your network drive/folder.
- Select the folder where you would like the data files to be stored. As an example, if the folder F:\My Affirmative Action Data\ was selected, a folder called Aap12Data would be created within that folder.
- Click on the OK button on the Browse For Folder dialog.
- Click on the OK button on the Data Location Setup window.
- The Aap12Data folder will now be created in the folder that was selected in step 4. It may take a few moments depending on the computer’s speed.
Software Registration
A Software Registration window will appear where the 16 digit registration code can be entered. If you have forgotten your code, please email ask@yocom-mckee.com or access our Live Chat during business hours.
- Enter the software registration code. This 16 digit code can be entered with or without the dashes.
- Click the OK button.
Password Creation
The Complete AAP 12™ is a password protected application. The password is user-defined. The Password Creation window allows the user to create a password that will allow entry into the application.
- Type in a new password in the Please create a new password below text box. The only password requirement is that it is at least 1 character. We recommend a much stronger password, but leave this up to the user’s preferences.
- Type in the new password again in the Confirm password text box.
- Click the OK button.
Installation Complete
The software installation process is now complete. The Companies window will appear with an example Sample Company installed. This company can be deleted or kept in the list for training or testing purposes.
